Chihuly Exhibit Ends November 30th
There are more than enough reasons to attend the Denver Botanic Gardens. This oasis of beauty features some spectacular plants, trees, and more.
This summer there was an extra special reason to take in this Denver attraction. American artist, Dale Chihuly, has a series of glass sculptures featured throughout the Garden area. In the water, framed by flowers, embedded in tree trunks… the beautiful creations of Dale Chiluly are spectacular to take in.
But you can only enjoy them for a little while longer. The Chihuly exhibit ends on November 30th. Evening tickets, when the sculptures are light up, are already sold out for the rest of the dates. There are a few to be found on the local ticket scalping sites if you absolutely have to see the evening views.
However the daytime viewing is spectacular and tickets are still available. They are going fast though.
The Denver Urban lifestyle offers so many great events within the arts. This is one you don’t want to miss out on.
Cheers Denver! If this is the first you are hearing of the Denver Botanic Garden’s Chihuly Exhibit, which we find hard to believe, here is a video to help fill in some of the story of this amazing artist that the DBG describes as…
Chihuly is credited with revolutionizing the Studio Glass movement and elevating the perception of the glass medium from the realm of craft to fine art. He is renowned for ambitious architectural installations around the world, in historic cities, museums and gardens.
