An Alamo Drafthouse, the film lovers theater with bars, full menus and strict rules against talking and texting, is coming to the Sloan’s Lake area in 2015. Plans for the project were unveiled at a community meeting two weeks ago to a warm reception. The eight screen theater project is slated to be located on the site of the former St. Anthony Central hospital property which is bounded on the north by Sloan’s Lake Park. Completion of the project is scheduled for the fall of 2015. The theater will show first run films as well as the Drafhouses’ signature sing along films, extreme classics, and tough guy series.
